Module objectives/intended learning outcomes

General Competence (Knowledge)

Applying mathematical concepts to reality through modeling of mathematics and simulation and its interpretation .

Specific Competence: Students are able to

1.      Understand the concept and stages of the mathematical modeling

2.      Apply the concept of mathematical on a real problem

Content

Mathematical modeling both in the analytic and numerical on a real problem in the field of biology, economic and industrial.

Study and examination requirements

Students are considered to pass if they at least have got a final score 40 (D).

The assessments include individual resumes (assignment), poster,  group presentations (midterm) and paper (final exam).

Final score is calculated as follow: 10% softskill + 16% Poster + 10% assignment  +  32% midterm + 32% final exam
