General Competence (Knowledge)

Being able to determine premium amount of a life insurance.

Specific Competence : students are able to

1.      Describe elements of conventional insurances.

2.      Find probability.

3.      Use a mortality table to determine life expectancy.

4.      Find interest.

5.      Determine present value (cash value) of an annuity.

6.      Find premium of a life annuity.

7.      Determine premium of a life insurance.

8.      Explain basic concepts of sharia insurance.

Students are considered to pass if they at least have got a final score 40 (D).

Final score is calculated as follows: 10% softskill + 20% assignment + 20% quiz + 25% midterm + 25% final term
