General Competence (Knowledge):

Using the concept of mathematical proof by contradiction and mathematical induction, and understanding the concept of relations, functions and its properties.

Specific Competence: student capable of

1.      Proving the statement in various forms.

2.      Determining the partition of a set by a equivalence relation

3.      Describing the types of functions.

Proof by contradiction, Mathematical Induction, Relations, Functions.

Study and examination requirements

Students are considered to pass if they at least have got final score 40 (D).

Final score is calculated as follow: 10% softskill+23% assignment + 23% Quiz + 20% midterm + 24% final exam.
