On Saturday, October 21, 2023, the Community Service (PkM)  Team from the Mathematics Study Program at Universitas Airlangga (UNAIR) revisited SMA Negeri 1 Puri Mojokerto. This visit aimed to follow up on the Numeration Minimum Competency Assessment (AKM) training activities conducted a month earlier. The initial activity involved members of the Mathematics Subject Teacher Association (MGMP) in Mojokerto district, providing coaching and mentoring on Numeracy AKM to enhance the numeracy competence of Mathematics teachers in the region.

During this subsequent visit, microteaching activities were scheduled to evaluate the assignments given to participants in the prior session. The assignments involved creating AKM equivalent questions in the form of a single Stem question with a minimum of three associated questions. The event commenced with the opening of the Mathematics MGMP of Mojokerto regency, followed by microteaching activities. Participants were divided into parallel classes, each accompanied by the UNAIR Mathematics Study Program PkM team. In these classes, participants presented their questions and received feedback from the mentoring team. The outcome of this activity resulted in the collection of at least 60 stem questions, each comprising three to five questions.

Inna Kuswandari, the leader of the PkM team, expressed, “The questions collected are very interesting, covering various topics,” while acknowledging the efforts of the training participants. The compiled questions will be documented in a book of AKM Numeracy questions and subsequently published. This resource will serve as a valuable tool for high school mathematics teachers, aiming to enhance their preparation for numeracy AKM. “Hopefully, it can offer significant benefits to the teacher team in preparing for the numeracy AKM,” she added.
