Introduction to Biology; cell as life unit; cell metabolism; protein synthesis and DNA replication; structure and function of plant tissues; structure and function of animal tissue; cellular homeostasis; organism homeostasis; biosystematics; biological resources conservation; organism interaction with environment; cell and organism reproduction; gene, cell and organism evolution; modern biotechnology; database of biological information; study of biological cases in the recent year. |

Study and examination requirements |
Students are considered to be competent and pass if at least get 40% of maximum. Final score (NA) is calculated as follow: 20% (structural assignment + soft skill) + 40% mid exam + 40% final exam. Final index is defined as follow: A : 86 – 100 AB : 78 – < 86 B : 70 – < 78 BC : 62 – < 70 C : 54 – < 62 D : 40 – < 54 E : < 40 |
