General Competence (Knowledge)

Bing able to apply basic concepts of mathematics to solve mathematical problems related to finance, economics and business.

 

Specific Competence :

1.       Determine simple interest, compound interest, effective interest, and annuity.

2.       Apply concept of function derivative to solve mathematical problem related to economics.

3.       Determine optimum of a two-variable function (non-constrained optimization and constrained optimization).

4.       Determine producer surplus and consumer surplus.

Students are considered pass if he/she has final score at least 40. The final score (FS) is calculated as follow :

10% softskill + 20% assignment + 20% quiz + 25% middle term + 25% final term
